Natsu no shuuten is a coming-of-age manga about some young teenagers and them coping with their unrequited love. The main character is a girl named Natsukawa who is in love with her schoolmate named Aikawa. Aikawa is a boy with a difficult family situation who is in love with his new older stepsister. The stepsister is also in a difficult romantic situation where she is waiting for her lover(?) who left her. Some new characters get introduced in the future as well. Such as a boy who falls in love with Natsukawa and his childhood friend who likes him. This manga explores these characters relationshipswith eachother and their own problems.

Natsu no shuuten has quite a unique art style for a jump manga. It has kind of a minimalistic art style which is quite charming at the same time. The art is very cozy and soothing.

This manga is a melancholic ride. It's a very silent manga. Not many words are used. It tries to convey feelings with facial expressions more than words. Everything is very subtle and ambiguous but not really hard to understand. It expresses emotions quite nicely. The author did a good job with all these things.
The characters of this manga is pretty well made and likable. I love the slow development of relationships between the characters.
I highly recommend this manga to readers who want a simple, melancholic and relaxing manga.
