This is simply excellent. It is in my estimation what anime should be. It has humor, adventure, distinct characters, in this case not just a McGuffin but mystery, and enough features -- such as Chaika's manner of speech -- to capture me and keep me. I''ve finished the first series and am hungry for more. An advantage of watching anime that came out a few years ago (besides seeing anime that is great instead of the crazy current product of producers who seem bored) is that I can begin to watch the next season immediately. Which I intend to do right now -- and that'swhy this review is so short.
