* Sorry for using the word "trash", but I got so pissed off by how bad this one turned out after almost 13 years of the first Basilisk!

I've always loved "Basilisk: Kouga Ninpouchou" and considered it a masterpiece. I always wanted an Anime that could bring the same Shinobi feeling. After hearing about the sequel I couldn't believe it, but unfortunately I got really disappointed :(

*SPOILER ALERT - LAST EPISODE*
I noticed that in the last episode when Hachirou was fighting Joujin there was moment where the art and animation elevated to a really great level that it reminded me of the previous season!
