Tsuki ga Kirei is an example of a hidden gem. Initially underrated, the story is overwhelmingly amazing. From the basic interactions to the overall plot line, there was not one bit that was not done in an excellent manner. The story depicts emotional and anxiety issues fairly accurately, and most of all, the plot is absolutely as realistic as it can get, and I can't stress this enough. The troubles and challenges we faced as young or developing adults are something that we can all relate to through this story. The way the story was portrayed to the viewer was incredible; you can really feelimmersed and connected with the characters.

The art is also very well done - some may disagree because of the white outline around characters. However, it really makes the characters stand out for the better, and is something you'll start to enjoy as you watch this anime. On a related note, the sound is very well done. The scenes that demand some sort of partnering music have them. In addition, the opening and endings are well done. No complaints in this department.

Maturity and growth is extremely prevalent in this anime. The development of all characters are seen in this story, not just the main characters. When it comes down to accurately representing how humans can change quickly, this anime checks off all the boxes.

The overall rating I give this anime is 10/10. Highly enjoyable, and dare I say a masterpiece that will be continue to be revered in the future.
