Review of A Lull in the Sea

I expected more from this anime than what was delivered. The plot wasn't bad, but I feel like the characters could've been better. I do understand character development in these type of animes, however, I feel like there was a lack of any sort of development at all. Most of the characters had a bit of selfishness to them and one of them was extremely hot-headed. Now, this might be intentional which I do not argue against, but it felt like these characteristics were pushed ahead of other redeeming qualities. The anime is still good, and I don't have much against it. But I alsothink this anime could've been shorter than 26 episodes. The plot was good but it felt like it was being stretched and thus slow in order to make more episodes. The animation, however, is amazing as well as the music and folly. Overall I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. Not the greatest and part of me did not enjoy it but also part of me did.
