Review of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

tl;dr The Disastrous Life of Saiki K is pretty funny. Personally, I love it and think even if you aren't a fan of comedy it is worth trying. Also, the season 1 dub is pretty great. Story 8 - Each episode is a basic plot involving the escapades of Saiki and his 'friends' some concepts are better than others and some jokes don't translate too well, but most episodes are solidly entertaining to watch without feeling too niche in audience appeal. Art 8 - Not a focus of the show but some visual gags are entertaining to look at. Nothing particularly amazing but not bad by anystretch of the margin.

Sound 8 - The same soundtrack is noticeably used for the entire series, but it does a good job of setting scenes. I would compare it to the SpongeBob soundtrack in the sense that it encapsulates scenes well.

Characters 10 - The character writing and humor within the show is what makes it a personal favorite of mine. Saiki's deadpan nature mixes well with the extreme cast of characters.

Enjoyment and mild critiques 10 - As with anything humor is subjective and if you aren't a fan of deadpan humor then the show might only be a little less enjoyable. Shockingly, having given this show a 10 I think it is pretty funny. Only other complaint I have is I think that Kaidou yells a bit too much but that is relatively minor and I still enjoy most episodes with him.
