I want to be absolutely clear at the start of this review that Animegataris is not actually a 10/10 show. Rather, I scored it a 10/10 purely out of respect for being the first show I have watched that completely transcends the question of being "good" or "bad" and instead exists on its own plane of psychedelic insanity. The series begins as a lighthearted school comedy and ultimately descends completely into surrealism for the last few episodes, blurring the lines between reality and anime, and between the characters in the show and the viewer. When you finish, the first thought that willcross your mind is "well, that sure was something." It's the only appropriate reaction to this series.
