Review of Land of the Lustrous

Houseki no kuni/ Land of the lustrous is a masterpiece in story telling, artistic talent, and anime to manga adaptation. This is the first and only anime i have read the manga for, and the adaptation is perfect. No other anime has made me cry every time I watch it, no other anime has made me listen to every single song on the OST and no other anime has made me re watch it over and over again. Houseki no kuni is a golden standard for anime for me, Main character growth in power and loss, fortitude and solitude all working together to make notonly a realistic character but an entertaining one. The Sad parts made me cry, the happy moments makes me cry of joy, and any beautiful scenes make me cry as well. Houseki no kuni will forever be my number 1 anime, and I am content with that.
