Review of Parasyte: The Maxim

*REMEMBER THIS IS A SUBJECTIVE REVIEW WITH SOME OBJECTIVE POINTS* This anime straight up surprised me.Damn,I fought it was gonna be a generic shounen with some deep ideas, but no. It felt like a journey.Discovering the characters great development, and understanding more about our perspectives as humans in some aspects like morality and our relationship with other species. Story:10/10 Aliens invading earth, and a student has to save humanity. Sounds pretty generic right?Well,it isn’t. There are “layers” in the story. How each character sees the world differently and man, the world building here feels amazing. What I think is the best about the story is that somehow, FEELSLIKE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IN THE REAL WORLD.

Very good animation. But I hated the CGI they used sometimes.It was just...unnecessary.
Sound:6/10
Worst part about Parasyte?The soundtrack. It is really meh.Not good nor bad. The OP felt really edgy for a serious anime like this. The ED was decent.
Character:10/10
I said it before, each character is unique. There was some wasted potential with Uda. Still a 10.
Enjoyment:10/10
Really good to watch IF YOU HAVE TIME. It could be better if you just focus on this anime so you understand the deep philosophy behind it.
