Review of Attack on Titan Season 3
Attack on Titan's third season (part 1) is an intense and dramatic journey that just keeps getting more mysterious and more exciting as it progresses. This season probably wasn't as mysterious as season 2 was, but in Season 3 part 1, we are getting a lot of our questions answered while still diving deep into unknown territory, and having a blast along the way. One of my favorite things about anime is character development. I think the winner here in that department would be Christa. It's great to watch her go from someone who achieves very little to being one of the most important characters inthe series. Levi also comes off as really cool too... until the ending sequence of episode 12! What in the world was that? I guess we'll find out in part 2!
One thing I struggle with in anime is being able to identify with the main character. It seems like the main character is usually just a vehicle for other characters and concepts to shine. I can say that while Eren might not be my number one favorite character in the show, he's definitely not just a lifeless vessel for good. He has his dilemmas that he has to persevere, and those issues persist throughout every season. We might be solving some mysteries, but we're only revealing more problems to solve, and by episode 12, we realize how little progress we've made on Eren's personal goals.
It's a great anime that is undeniably good. AoT season 3 part 1 is crazy binge worthy.
