I don't have too much to say without spoilers. even though this is not a 10/10 anime, you should probably still watch it for the inspiration alone. Beyond the inspiring message of "Just do it, screw the haters" the show has some funny moments, as well as some very emotional moments. Aside from that, the show focuses on the main theme of the journey to Antarctica, an adventure that can never go 100% according to plan, which circles back to the "just do it" message the show portrays. even though main characters are unsure if they will even make it to their destination, it is worthit to try for the experience alone.

The only negative thing, would probably be how short the show is at 13 episodes. Over half of the show focuses on bringing the main characters together, preparing for the journey, and the journey itself. only 4 of the episodes actually take place in Antarctica, which would not be a problem except for one characters main motives for going to Antarctica being fulfilled very quickly followed by the shows end. I felt even 2 extra episodes in Antarctica would have really expanded on some key points that were brought up multiple times earlier.

If your looking for an anime focused on people living in Antarctica, then not only will you be disappointed, you may miss out on the journey that made this show a popular as it is despite its short run time.
