Review of A Whisker Away
Damn, that movie was f*cking amazing. Okay, so time for my first ever review. I really loved all the characters, and I could relate to most of them in some sort of way, some more than others. I'm very much like Miyo and Hinode, I have no clue on how to express my feelings, and I very much dislike life. But thanks to movies like this and other people out there, I learn that it isn't always terrible, and that we should all learn to enjoy it for what it is. 9/10 The animations weren't the best, but it however had a style very fitting to themovie, It all felt very cozy. The background setting was also insanely good, it gave me the same feeling like those events where they light the lanterns and let them drift away into the sky. Overall It was just very cozy and warm, like a fireplace in a cabin. 7/10
The music was very emotionally fitting. It got me in all the right moods and fit the scenes very well, big props to the people who produced the music. 8.7/10
*SEMI-SPOILER WARNING*
And the ending caught me off guard, ever since they first showed the tree, the movie got a bit more mysterious and unsettling to me. It reminded me really well of Pokémon 3: The Movie, the one with the girl and Entei. Otherwise the story was very normal, and like I said, very relatable. 8.9/10
Overall the movie gets a 8.4/10 however, I will be rating it a 9 because, like I said I suck at conveying my feelings and thoughts. But deep inside I know this movie is a 9.8 or 10.
