Story: 0 Plot: 0 Characters: 0 Writing: 0 Direction: 0 Entertainment value: 10 Overall Rating: 10 Truly one of the greatest animes of all time, up there with DBZ, Akira, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Spirited Away. When you watch characters in this show get brutally sexually assaulted and murdered for no other reason than to further Keyaru's degenerate revenge fantasy, it really opens up your third eye and makes you understand what it is like to be a man of culture. To paraphrase Pulp Fiction screenwriter Roger Avary, "Easily one of the best anime experiences I’ve ever had. I would go as faras saying it’s the reason anime was invented."

Absolutely kino, cannot wait for Season 2 to show the industry how it's done.
