My Hero Academia Season 6 goes balls deep. The gloves are off. Slice of life is on hold. Casual Tuesdays are cancelled. It's all out war. Animation / Art / General Visuals - 8/10 ----------------------------------------------- There is non-stop action all season long. And while the animation quality struggles to keep up with the demands, it's still good enough where it matters. You can spot shortcuts everywhere, but because there is so much going on, it's easy to overlook and focus on the good stuff. The general art and approach is the usual standard, nothing has changed in that regard. So if you've enjoyed MHA previously, you're sure to enjoyit still.

Sound / Music / Voice Acting - 9/10
------------------------------------------

Can't say anything bad. MHA music is still kicking ass and is definitely carrying many a moment in the show where visuals alone are not cutting it. All the right action tracks and emotional tunes are there, ready to go.

Story - 9/10
-------------

We're getting closer to the conclusion of it all. The deep inner workings of major villains are revealed, their plans finally in our sight. There's enough exposition to fill a book. At this point we know everything about everything pretty much. All that's left is to dot the I's and cross the T's.

And not just the villains. We get deeper insights into several heroes and organizations as well. And we even take a look outside of Japan by the end of it. Time to rock.

Characters - 9/10
---------------------

The entire MHA roster is there to kick ass. Midoriya is front and center, but he's far from the only person involved. We get close up action with basically every major and minor hero and villain that exists, or has existed. It's a full out war. THOUSANDS of villains and THOUSANDS of heroes are going at it. It's awesome.

Many old and new characters make appearances and shake things up with their backstories or plans. There's more than one twist and turn, including stuff to make you cry with anger and to cry with sadness. There's something for everyone.

---

Total - 9/10

---

Season 6 of MHA is without a doubt peak action Shounen. We get almost no downtime. It's balls to the walls, and it's fun as hell.

If you've been a fan of MHA up until now, there's no reason to stop. Go grab some snacks and enjoy the fiesta!
