Review of Yes, No, or Maybe?
I liked this movie fine. Kunieda's character was cool. Tsuzuki's character was kind of lackluster with a couple good moments. I was excited to see the two start a relationship until THAT scene. Tsuzuki lost all respect I had for him previously during that scene. I liked the art style and the character design was good, in my opinion, but yeah, I think you get my point. The voice acting was good though, so woo, haha. Others may disagree, but I personally don't really think the career scene at the end was necessary. Kunieda's career was really just like filler for the whole movie (that's whatit seemed like to me anyway). I guess it would make sense if it more of the story was focused on him building a career, but it really wasn't, so I feel like it took away from the big events that happened in the scene before (even though I hated it).
Overall, I think this movie had the potential to be pretty good. I really did like some aspects of it. I enjoyed Kunieda's double sided character, and all the scenes with Owari and Tsuzuki, and I loved the art style, but the ending ruined it for me.
