Review of Dorohedoro

It’s kinda weird watching a lizard man in a dystopian world that is clearly a shot at man-made pollution. I have to say this has to be one of most bizarre MAPPA projects that I have seen. I personally don’t like fully CGI animation, so at first I was a bit taken back at the look of the characters in this show. However, after a while and with the amount of bloodshed, I did not mind the CGI anymore. I didn’t particularly like the story. Many plot points were obvious and none of the twists were surprising. However, the characters and action more than compensated forthe problem. They were all weird and funny in their own way. When the fights were shown there wasn’t much mercy in hiding the blood and damages.

Overall, I enjoyed it, but not as much as the fan base tho. 7/10
