After dragging on this anime for years, I feel obligated to write a review. I read the manga years ago and started the anime but never finished it-- until now. Sasaki to Miyano is one of those series where it takes time for the romantic relationship to build. It's indeed slow but reasonable enough to flag it as one of the most healthy romantic relationship out there. Some may see it as indecisive or dull, but I believe it's because of how calm the atmosphere is. Without drama or conflict, how else are we supposed to stay awake and be on edge? That's just how itis.

The series is surrounded by goofy yet calm, comedic, sometimes sentimental-- characters. It talks about life and the leisureness in flow of time. Nothing but fuwa fuwa vibe here.

To be precise, their relationship is made official on the last episode which is episode 12. So from the beginning til the expected end, what we will witness is how these adolescents navigate through their choices while exploring their feelings. The feeling of wanting to be with someone but understanding consent and retrain is important. To not rush into things, and truly come to terms with your feelings first. That's how these two lovers behave. And frankly and refreshingly, that is so healthy.

Even the side character have some deep stories about them. I especially like Hanzawa senpai, as I find him quite relatable. Another honorary mention is Kuresawa-san, I like how his stories are written in the Manga. I'm sure you would too if you read them.

That's all from me. I truly believe this is one of the most healthiest relationships out there that a lot of young folks should take example from. (i mean this in the anime/manga universe wise ^^'). Take care~
