Review of Villainess Level 99: I May Be the Hidden Boss but I'm Not the Demon Lord
Your standard villainess isekai slop, but the MC, who is the cutest little dorky autist out there, just power levels out of her inevitable fate rather than using her womanly wiles to change her fate like I was expecting. The show is lacks any tension, making up for it by escalating the comedic antics of the MC throughout the show, like slave driving the students to level up faster, healing through the most grotesque means possible, and fumbling through standard conversation that gets misinterpreted constantly. The romance element of the show was also interesting, with the love interest actually having a character beyond being anice guy, and watching them consistently miscommunicate is a joke that I don't get tired of.
The show is an enjoyable binge, not deep or tense, but with so many funny antics with a cute MC, it made the show really easy to watch.
