Bright: Samurai Soul · review
I really do not understand the rating on this one. It's a simple good vs. bad story that starts in one end and ends in the other without many complications. There is nothing wrong with that in my opinion. I think the 3D animation looks pretty minimalistic and there isn't much about it to dislike except some strange camera movement every once in a while, the fight scenes are as simple and pleasant as the rest of the movie. The movie is quite short - as such certain character developments need to be a bit fast-forwarded, which - repeating myself once again, isn't really bad Ithink.
I noticed the music and sound design in particular is quite funky, though I note it does not tonally fit at all, I still liked it.
It's an experience as simple, pleasant and digestible as milk and cookies.
