Honestly, I really loved the anime so far and I must really say it was a succeed adaptation for me. I heard a lot of nice things about the manga. Art and slice of life are beautifully blended, but art remains at 35-40% in anime, I would liked to see more art-piece. The characters in this series are amazing each one gives a unique insight into the varying minds behind art, some side characters moments not that much meaningful as they could have been, but the fundamental ideas behind the characters and their developments are always there. In anime I was felted like the realmain character is Ayukawa and Yaguchi "aka the main character" is just an tool for the transfering Ayukawa's feelings and story to watchers in my opinion. Yaguchi is always aiming for his goals through hard work rather than natural talent. Because of this you are easily understanding a real art piece coming from what kind of hard and long processes' and what kind of story-line sleeping behind an art piece While watching the anime. The music choices are not bad I cant replace them with better ones but they are not carrying the mood of the scenes sometimes. And lastly I want to say that you gonna enjoy while watching Blue Period even you dont have any interested in art.
