Reviews are really intersting. You can see all kinds of opinions , details you might have missed about a series/movie , a perspectives you did not think about, before, or simply an entertaining paragraph , someone that has a way with words wrote ,on a whim. For better or for worse , I usually somewhat agree with reviews ,since I believe they try to be as unbiased as possible and maintain a neutral semi-objective view. Unfortunately , for this specific anime ,I disagree with some of the "Not recommended" reviews. Comments like "it's a snoozefest" or "robots finally understanding feeling" just show me people don'tactually care about mature and responsible characters, but instead prefer the over-the top reactions , always emotional and fake/exaggerated responses to a variable of situations.

For this anime, revolving around the lives of two teenagers/young adults who grew up without both parents (the boy with a father and the girl with a mother) and have a slight social awkwardness, perhaps due to their innate character ,combined with their circumstances, I appreciate the more "realistic" story it's trying to paint and find it refreshing.

Sure, this isn't a 10/10 story one would frame as the "best romance" ,but I still consider it a good watch for anyone that doesn't have the attention span of a 7 year old iPad kid.

Some good elements are definitely the emphasis on the characters, the light but correct use of music and slow/uneventful progression of the story, which fits the narrative of an unlikely-but normal household. The parents and children are both doing their best to uphold boundaries ,understanding one-another.

Some not-so good/fleshed out elements are the limited "expansion" to other characters, aside from the main duo, the lack of emotional climaxes and occasionally uninspiring moments. It holds a steady pace, overall, but doesn't excell at anything. It's your typical romance anime ,with a more realistic mundane spin.

In conclusion, 7/10 should be a fair score. Anything below or above that would be a stretch/nitpick ,in my opinion.
