I'm saying though - There's a lot of shows out there, a few dozen every few months and at least half of them aren't getting another season. Formulaic and not the candy you remember, like peanut butter cups with diluted fructose chocolate. And yet, in that sea of floppy, lazy cgi animation and moe isekai's about cooking in magic school when you put all your stats into defense and can't hold a knife correctly, ain't nobody be doing it like Dorohedoro. Characters inside of characters. Large, muscularly impressive ladies. Gore for the sake of gore. Akuma as Ron Popeil. EBISU. As good as it gets.
