Cthulhu Cat · review
Cthulhu cat is a 4 panel per page gag manga that turns the eldritch abominations of HP Lovecraft's imaginations into chibi cats. It has a simplified art style but is presented in colour with interesting designs for each of the main cats to make them easily identifiable. I was impressed by it's ability to balance the silly jokes with the lore of Lovecraft, especially at the start of the book and thought the ending of the main story was well done. The extra chapter is dedicated to left over ideas that wouldn't fit in with the main story which is just 5 chapters and dealswith the merging of the normal world with the "others" as more and more horrors flock to cthulhu cat and it's mortal companion.
This is definitely a light read, best suited as a palette cleanser.
