This anime is everything MHA should have been and wasn't. Deku should have been a weak character who becomes a great hero through willpower and hard work, but he only depends on protagonism. Kouichi, on the other hand, is someone who really has a bad power but still pursues his dream of being a hero and develops through true hard work. Because there are fewer characters, you can better follow each one's development. It has a more mature and less childish story. And the animation is much more interesting and fun. If you don't like MHA there's still a good chance you'll love Vigilante.
