Having watched the first 5 episodes of the show and realizing it wasn't doing anything for me, I can say that while it isn't nearly as well-produced as certain other SOL-comedy shows, it's also not nearly as bad as people are exaggerating it to be. It has a certain cynical humor to it that I found quite enjoyable for the first few times it was presented, but I can understand if that may get old for people eventually. Ultimately, while the show could use some improvements in terms of animation, it doesn't have to try nearly as hard as others simply because it isn't ashow that's meant to be taken seriously.

If you enjoy the slapstick humor and animation quality of Pop Team Epic, and can endure episodes of the same running gag, then you might enjoy Zashiki Warashi no Tatami-chan
