Review of A Whisker Away

I had high expectations for this movie because of how beautiful the trailer was, however I was left quite disappointed. The main character miyo really bothered me. I couldn't bring myself to like her nor sympathise with her. I just found her to be selfish, clingy and ungrateful. I understand the fact that she would feel rebellious towards her family considering her situation(even though her family seemed decent), but it was as if she had no respect even for her crush's personal boundaries. Overall, this movie has nice animation but was predictable and generic. I didn't feel connected to the movie at all.
