"If the one who falls in love first loses, then he already lost a long time ago" — The Narrator Like I said for the previous season, "I can't wait for Season 3, for sure I'll give it a 10 again...!", and I did just that. Kaguya-sama never fails to make me laugh and feel like a teenager, creating scenarios that keep us on our feet waiting for what lies ahead. In This Slice of Life, "RomSitCom" managed to add new elements that don't feel over the top and still hold the comedy they're known for. The show kept reminding us of the theme for thewhole plot, which is...

‘The one who confesses their love first loses!’

This opens up endless opportunities for the plot to progress. Both protagonists stuck to their code till the very end, but cracks are starting to appear. Yet they still tried to hide it, fearing the outcome of losing this so-called "battle." But this season shows that the main plot here isn't just fighting for the win, but something more meaningful. Multiple important points are shown leading up to the finale of the season, not only from the protagonist alone but also from the side characters. Confidence, doubt, fear, ignorance, burden, bliss, etc. are common things found in everyday relationships, and this show did well to portray them with comedic flair, which was done very well.

This season introduces characters with their own traits that affect the main cast in a good way. Some were able to connect with them. Some mustered up confidence for them. Some reminded them of themselves. These new characters played a factor in the development of the main cast of the show. The writing for the characters was very good, and it showed chemistry between the main characters. Minor backstories were shown for some of the characters, which were vital and explained why they acted the way they did.

A-1 Pictures always delivers with their high quality and sprinkle of quirkiness for comedic effects. Nothing felt dull or overdone. Everything, from the small details, was done perfectly. The OP-ED was second to none, with the return of Masayuki Suzuki and his catchy singles that will play in my mind for the week. Also, the main person who can't be left out is Akasaka sensei himself. His storywriting and how it can connect with real-life situations are astounding. I've been his fan since starting S1, and since then, including his recent success on Oshi no Ko, he never disappoints.

In conclusion, You're missing out if you haven't started this show. It will make you think about your teenage years and all the possibilities they possess. You will laugh, you will cringe, and you may even tear up. Kaguya-sama will give you a new experience as a teenager you always wanted in your life or relive the experience you already had.
