Review of Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow

If a minor wrote this, I’d still say he/she should not be forgiven and deserves the harshest punishment sanctioned by law or death by stoning, whichever has the better aura. I came back to anime after a long time and saw this being rated highly. So I picked it up. Good thing none of my friends recommended it, it would have been hard to unfriend someone in real life over a recommendation. First one was just fine, but the second one doesn’t have a single redeeming quality. You have glitter boys glowing in different colours of aura, with jin woo’s blue aura being the strongest. Hasa body odour so irresistible, that people on fragrantica have started dunking on Aventus. He’s already overpowered for the world, so now he is just aura levelling, turning girl’s heads and sacrificing men’s lives. Stupid monsters keep getting in his way and turned into shadows, not realizing they are just cannon fodder for this weekend’s 30 minute entertainment.

In conclusion, the mere existence of this abomination brings down the collective quality and reputation of all anime. I feel so embarrassed about watching this, that I may need to go to a confession. I will take care to never watch a manhwa adaptation again, as one friend assures me this is a manhwa specific problem.
