Review of The Foolish Angel Dances with the Devil

It's somewhat an oddball to a romcom, watching it felt like a Romeo and Juliet story, two sides fighting against each other creating a tention between their feelings, although the plot was interesting, I think they should have dropped the entire "war" element to it, the more they explained the conflict it just felt like tention was building up towards something bigger. The characters on the other-hand was delightful, from Lily hiding her shame under domination to Yuuma being your average goofball protagonist with a slight teasing nature, i found the rest of the cast cute.... their charm is quickly hindered by their one dimensional characters,the comedy on the other side was.... in a bad way, quirky to say the least, every single moment that any love was building up between the 2 main characters some washed out joke would come between them, this just shutters the feeling of romance for me throughout the show.

I do for one thing enjoyed the story towards the end, it set up an interesting plot to everything even though the feelings they had for one another didn't go farther than realising their love and a secret kiss from Lily at the end.

I would have rated this a bit higher if the plot wat a bit more refined and the comedy wasn't so in your face, but other than that, i somewhat enjoyed it
