Based on the popular RPG, it takes the "Successor" trope and turns it into a high-stakes, emotional journey that kept me hooked from the first episode to the finale. The Story & World-Building The concept of "Successors"—modern-day heroes channeling the powers of ancient legends—is executed brilliantly. The world feels lived-in and mysterious. What starts as a classic battle against the "Destruction" quickly evolves into a deep narrative about destiny, identity, and the weight of carrying someone else's legacy. The pacing is solid, andthe lore behind the Seven Knights is fascinating.
For me this is masterpiece anime.
