Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

While the show may seem lacking or be pushed into the harem genre, do not be turned off as this show is quite the feel-good anime and has some great characters even if at first glance it seems cliche the characters are all given enough time to grow and show they are more than your average harem anime all drolling over the main guy and having needless plot twists for the girls clothes to fall off every 30seconds. fanservice is deligated to main characters fantasies and thoughts and not pushed into the main story for no reason. The fan service while present in every episode it isdone sparingly and for comedic value or just the camera angle when it pans out for the fans and not to disrupt the story or characters in most circumstances.

Art is very pretty to look at and while avoiding 99% of harem anime this is one I can solidly recommend and hope others will give it a chance before writing it off in the first 2episodes.

Sound is more geared towards anime pop and the daily interactions are more comedic and always a good laugh which Is quite rare when translating is done on the low budget animes :)

so a solid 7/10
