On the surface, a pretty bland fantasy series with nothing too fresh going for it, yet it's got a consistent formula episode-to-episode that makes it one of the better generic fantasies I've seen. I like its take on an OP MC, who in the beginning comes off as more of a lonely kid who just wants some friends; and later on, the story evolves from just focusing on his power. When the political intrigue started surfacing, I started to think that this series isn't that bad. It is an isekai, but from start to finish, I couldn't figure out why it was an isekai. The isekaielement played no part in the story aside form the MC recalling how to prepare foods (like miso and sashimi) from his previous life. I'm still pretty baffled by it.
