Review of Sword Art Online

I'm bad at this go easy on me pls, and this is my first time I think minor spoilers for the second half of Sword Art Online, but it's not too big a deal i think. In my humble opinion, it was an 8 out of 10 until DIO showed up, or whatever that villain's name is, because he was such a bad character I didn't care to remember his name, so I only know him as DIO because of his VA. Once DIO showed up it was probably a 5 or less. I think that it has good fight scenes all the way through, anda good score throughout as well. Other than that, everything else this anime does right ends with the first half.

The second half villain.
The villain of the second half is the worst I have seen. His motivations are power and he thinks Asuna is hot. All he wants is to virtually rape Asuna and then get rich. He is evil for the sake of evil and his character makes no sense at all. He does extremely stupid things all the time, but things somehow always end up fine for him until the end. He's overall a terrible villain with no good motivations and none of his character or actions make sense to any sane human.

Other than DIO, the other characters aren't that special. Neither amazing nor offensive, except for one charecter; Suguha

Suguha's mindset throughout doesn't make much sense to me. She ends up falling in love with her brother, which i found very uncomfortable to watch, but then she just gets over it partway through no problems, no questions asked. Her only conflict is not only uncomfortable to watch, but it gets resolved suddenly and for no real reason.

Other than those characters, I thought this anime was pretty good, maybe it's just because I'm a sucker for cool fights with romance mixed in
