Review of A Lull in the Sea

I loved this anime. It was fun entertaining and just a good enjoyable experience. Story aside for a bit the animation for this series was damn amazing! I wouldn't say that the series was perfect because it wasn't there were some faults in the plot but still I enjoyed it quite a lot. The Plot: The story definitely isn't for everyone. If you are someone who likes action and adventure stuff like that this will not be the series for you. If you like a story that revolves more around it's characters, how they feel about each other then you will most probably like this. But that'snot all the story is about, it deals with friendship, love and even discrimination as the people of the surface and the people of the sea don't get along that well. All in all it was n good story that I personally enjoyed.

The Animation:
The art and animation in this anime was top notch. It had a few bits where you could see that the quality dropped somewhat but not by much. If the story took place underwater it really felt to me that I was underwater there was bubbles everywhere and there was for example fish in the house or in the characters rooms stuff like that it really felt alive. On the surface on the other hand it would be gorgeous but dull where it needs to be. You can see like moss on some of the smaller buildings near the water. All and all the art and animation for this series was amazing.

The Sound:
i absolutely loved the OST of this anime. It fits the series perfectly. It also set the tone for the scenes really well. There are a few tracks that are amazing to listen to without watching the series. The two opening songs fit great for both part 1 and 2 and complemented the changes in the story perfectly. (you'll know what I mean when you watch the series) I personally liked the second OP more than the first. And it also has 2 versions which was much appreciated.

Enjoyment:
I really liked this series a lot. I watched it both dubbed and subbed both versions are great. Like I said before this series is not for everyone but it is still a very enjoyable series. The series is finished so it's not like some anime out there that just stops in the middle of a series. Although it leaves me wanting more.
