Review of Parasyte: The Maxim
Something different for the type of anime that I'm used to, but not at all disappointed. Parasyte shows us a reality where humans and '' alien parasites '' must coexist together, between a thin line of hunter and prey. The majority of humans disconnect the existence of these parasites, however, some of them know very well their existence, and even coexist in a special way with their guests. The anime itself has a beautiful animation and direction, with a soundtrack that honestly, is rare to hear in anime, and it seemed pretty good. Usually break a bit with the cliches and try to forge theircharacters in a special way, here is where I can say that the development of the protagonist is quite intense and qualitative. Of course not everything is perfect, because the anime also tries to enter into philosophical measures by asking questions like '' What is the human? '' 'And what do we live for?' 'This is where I think it becomes a bit pretentious trying to enter in a pseudo-intellectual field; but in spite of that it is a quite entertaining anime with some excellent scenes of action and a quite original story.
