Review of Steins;Gate 0
This is easily my favorite anime of all time (even beating out the OG Steins;Gate). While it was definitely more flawed than the original, and it wasn't perfect, it emotionally impacted me more than anything I've seen so far. The main characters managed to be developed so much more from the original it's insane. Seeing a depressed Okabe broke my heart, but what broke it even more was goddamn Mayushii. The amount of pain from her (and from everyone) hit me so hard, and I cried in like 10 of the episodes (I haven't even cried to Evangelion, which says something about this show's impact). The music was brilliant and heartbreaking, the character interactions were stellar, and my only gripe is that we didn't get enough of Lukako, Faris, and the new side characters (Yuki, Fubuki, and Kaede). Even though pacing was weird, I didn't mind at all. I kinda wish there were more episodes for the action however... all in all, I absolutely adored the show, and will definitely rewatch it many times
