Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Overall: 6/10 Today we have to analyze Devilman: Crybaby, whose adaptation was produced thanks to Netflix's intentions to revive an old anime from the 70's, but for this occasion it only takes the small references of it, since this is a completely series "Original" (without bases) and as I always say, this type of adaptations have no gray and are mostly 50/50 between being very good or being relatively bad. If I had to decline for any of these to describe the program I would clearly choose the second. First of all, you have to take into account that this is a journey of 2 completely differentstories within it, of which the first one from chapter 1 to 6, which is the most correct and neat of the faces shown by the program and later the outcome (if it can be called that) of chapter 7 to 10, which leaves its weaknesses very exposed, but in an unusual way in terms of its plot and its frantic pace that does not help at all Therefore, at the time of arrival of the drama and the "feelings" it does not generate any empathy to the viewer when most of the cast is shown from a very superficial perspective.
Finally, I don't want to forget about the great staging that this adaptation receives with great OSTs and a pleasant enough animation to set the scene and feel that you are reliving a title that is almost 50 years old and keep the essence of it. The battles are quite fluid movements and scenes "strong" or "rises" as they prefer to say are really well achieved.

Conclusion: If you want to see a show dismemberment, sex scenes and drugs well achieved and some "somewhat" pleasant characters this is your program, but if you are already looking for something with a consolidated history, well developed characters or something
that at least you have to connect 2 neurons, as I would recommend that you look elsewhere.

Hoy toca analizar Devilman: Crybaby cuya adaptación se produjo gracias a las intenciones de Netflix de revivir un viejo anime de la década de los 70', pero que para esta ocasión solo toma las pequeñas referencias de la misma, ya que esta es una serie completamente "Original" (sin bases) y como siempre suelo decir, este tipo adaptaciones no tiene grises y son mayoritariamente 50/50 Entre ser muy buenas o ser relativamente malas. Si me tuviera que declinar por alguna de estas para describir el programa me quedo con la segunda claramente.
Primero que nada tienen que tener en cuenta que este es un viaje de 2 historias completamente diferentes dentro del mismo, de la cual conlleva la primera del capitulo 1 al 6, la cual es la mas correcta y prolija de las caras que muestra el programa y posteriormente el desenlace (si es que se le puede llamar así) del capitulo 7 al 10, que deja muy expuestas las debilidades del mismo, pero de una manera insólita en cuanto a la trama de la misma y su ritmo frenético que no ayuda en nada, por lo que a la hora de llegada del drama y los "feelings" no genera absolutamente ninguna empatía al espectador cuando la mayor parte del elenco es mostrado desde una perspectiva muy superficial del mismo.
Por ultimo no quiero olvidarme de la gran puesta en escena que recibe esta adaptación con grandes OST y una animación bastante agradable para ambientar y sentir que estas reviviendo un titulo de casi 50 años de antigüedad y mantener la esencia de la misma. Las batallas se notan unos movimientos bastantes fluidos y las escenas "fuertes" o "Subidas de tono" como prefieran decirles están realmente bien logradas.

Conclusión: Si quiere ver un espectáculo desmembramientos, escenas sexuales e drogas bien logradas y unos personajes "algo" agradables este es tu programa, pero si ya estas buscando algo con una historia consolidada, personajes bien desarrollados o algo
que al menos tengas que conectar 2 neuronas, pues recomendaría que busques por otro lado.
