This is the first time I am writing an anime review despite having watched quite a number a number of shows. Tsuki Ga Kirei...how do I put it...if I were to put it in one phrase, it would be beautifully heart wrenching. I watched this anime about a month and a half ago, right after the last episode aired. Within that time frame, I have watched a few other series with a romance element such as Fukumenkei Noise and Koi to uso(currently airing), but up till date, Tsuki ga Kirei still leaves me thinking about it on a constant notice. I have previously watched somepretty well known romance anime such as Clannad(both seasons) , Your Lie in April, Say "I Love you"...and the list goes on. While I found them decent and well executed, the kind of feel when watching Tsuki ga Kirei was different.

Within an episode, or perhaps even a scene, I could feel mixed feelings of happiness and dismal for the characters at the same time. As far as I could remember, no other show has made me feel that way in a long time. The characters are so relatable, not only for just certain things they say, but the each and every action that they made also made me feel that i would do the same thing in that situation.

In summary, the overall execution for the whole anime had me wanting to engage more with the series each time I watched an episode. As for the ending(won't give any spoilers), it was done in such an extraordinary way that it made me feel like wanting more, yet I was so glad that it ended the way it did. Again, mixed feelings which no other show has yet to make me feel this way. Even as a stand alone series without comparing it to other anime, I loved it. My thanks and respect
to studio feel and everyone involved in the production who made such a great show.

I would highly recommend this to anyone, not just romance fans. Some might feel that it is a little stagnant or boring, but even so, I personally would still say that watching till the end is definitely worth the time.
