Review of Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku
Honestly, I wasn't sure what to think of this series at first as I read the first volume of the manga before deciding to head into the anime after hearing that it's more cohesive. The manga definitely did not blow me away and I ended up feeling kind of confused because it isn't very linear and jumps around a lot, so I was definitely underwhelmed heading into the anime. I was quickly absorbed though and the characters grew on me so much - this definitely translated better on screen for me as it followed a more linear storyline that linked different events together in amore cohesive manner, and the humour really hit better to the point where I actually laughed out loud sometimes (which is very rare for me). Honestly, this was great and I absolutely devoured the series in any spare time I had.
