Review of Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya

The second season delves more into the struggles of having a loved one on the opposite side of war. Mika the second main character adds depth to the story because of his selfishness, fear, and love towards his family. He is willing to sacrifice everything to have the companionship of a loved one. The stakes and losses are higher in the story. But the recklessness and stubbornness of the other main character ruin the story. Also, the impact of the war only affects the side characters deeply not the main cast. And since there are no heavy burdens on them other than survival and protectingone another making the show shallow, because they have plot armor. The twist at the end was not well executed and we know the main characters will go into danger again because of the protagonist.
