I ve noticed over time that the yaoi definition differs from person to person. My own personal opinion is that yaoi is pretty much porn. This is certainly not that. I would describe it as more of a slice of life, romantic drama, the kind of one you see on television, only that the relationship is between two men instead of a man and a woman. It's an emotional plot, not melodramatic deep but it does make you sympathise with the lead and you dont find yourself getting irritated with his choices or thoughts. The thing i liked about it most was that it wasnt just'come to bed with me uke' and the poor guy is tackled to the floor, its more of a light hearted invitation thats more believable.The characters were allowed to develop their feelings before anything happens so if you want something with two good looking guys having rough sex, this is not what you're looking for.

Its also pretty short as well so you could read it all on a free afternoon so thats always a plus. Overall i really enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone looking to fill a gap in their day with a romantic story that leaves you going 'nawwww'
