Review of Gintama

I started watching Gintama last last month, I found it on a compilation video on yt. It was funny and the voices the actors portray are totally perfect. Decided to give it a watch, but later on I stopped watching it because it was not quite what I expected. It overwhelmed me and was bored during the first few episodes. After a few days, I tried watching it again and was completely hooked. The show isn't just all about comedy and gags but it also bring an emotinal wave on some episodes, and the arcs are just perfect. In my own opinion its absolutely a must watch, itsvery hilarious including jokes that are somewhat dirty hahaha, also the emotinal ones are so beautiful. It always kept me in awe and would bawl after watching sad scenes.

The fighting scenes are very beautiful as well, it amazes me very much. The characters don't have any special techniques unlike other animes but its not a bore, its just a samurai fighting with his own style.(Along with his friends)

The characters is a 10!!! The only anime I remember that until now I still remember the names of the 50+ characters, they give outstanding personalities which is why they are hard to forget. The female characters in the show are not the weak/damsel in distress type, they are all samurais carrying their own style of fighting(luv ittt). I didn't even notice until I finsihed the 1st season that I cared about all of them and not only the MC.

Again...please give it a try! Very very beautiful, the more you watch the episodes the more you learn about them and yourself as well. Cheers to Gorilla-sensei for giving us such a beautiful piece along with the staff and actors as well for bringing them to life.
