Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai aka Anohana, is trully a beautiful piece of art. I'm touched by the beautiful story, this is the first time I've shed a tear while watching an anime. After watching this, you probably get sad just by listening to the ending song. The story revolves around Hanma Meiko's friend, in the group called "Super Peace Busters". A pack of childhood friends that gets separated, because of her death. The series itself manages to perfectly demonstrate this fantastic piece of art in 11 episodes. The art and sound is superb, especially that ending song :;( But the strongestpoint is the character development. Each of the main cast gets a really strong development, about how they cope with their life and live a life without Hanma Meiko.

Overall Anohana is a superb series, it is the first tearjerking anime that i watched, and it is simply beautiful.
