Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
AnoHana is adorable as well as heartfelt. It certainly caught my interest within the first episode. I feel it thoughtfully expressed the pain and how hard it is to lose a friend and a loved one. Anyone who watched this series and did not shed a single tear is probably heartless, I was pretty much crying my eyes out every other episode. Some would say it was is an overemotional and overall depressing experience, though, when I finished the series I felt almost relieved and a bit lighter. I really did enjoy the ride and I would definitely recommend it to those who likesthe feeling of being touched emotionally. As for cons, I didn't feel very close to any character in particular. Some seemed a bit too flat and unknown. If you are the type of person who does base opinions on details rather than the big picture, there are many flaws here and there. I tried to let them bother me and they certainly did not make me enjoy this series any less.
