This shit will fuck you up. I've never seen anything that has rivaled the feeling i got when i watched Evangelion until i saw this show. Everything in this show is beautiful. The imagery in this show is on par with NGE and the story is something that i have never really seen. The only thing that really limited the show was the vagueness, this can be off putting to some but it was something that i found to be a strong point of the series. You may have to force yourself through the first few episodes, but its most likely going to be worthit.
