Review of Sword Art Online

Flawed, but very enjoyable. Sword Art Online was one of those animes with huge missed opportunities. It felt really rushed, big-time skips, and overall way too fast-paced with the last half of the season being entirely different than the first, and not in a good way. But the thing is, it was still an amazing anime, it was so enjoyable to the point I'd give it a solid 8. It would have easily been a 10 had it been a lot slower-paced and been shown in more detail. It surprised me how good it was even though it had so many flaws. I could just imaginehow much of a masterpiece it could have been had they stretched out the aincrad arc for 2-3 seasons, there was so much content to adapt into the anime but instead they decided to show them go to many games.
Solid anime.
