Review of Katanagatari

this is the best anime i have ever seen in my life. beautiful art, a prolific soundtrack, a riveting story, and gorgeous character development make this the "anime to beat" in my book. in a land of booty-clappin fist-thrustin terrible-comedy anime, this is the friggin Godfather to the industry's seasonal hollywood shoot-em-up. admittedly, the ending could have been a little bit better, but the anime itself is so good that the ending actually works for it because it ends up making you think about why the ending is like it is. WATCH IT ALREADY. also mal is really gay about having a ridiculously high character limit and soundslike my english teacher, "oh mmfood you need more characters even though you've perfectly summed up what you're trying to say!" like come on wtf even presidents only get two minutes to speak this is ridiculous
