Review of School Days

Ahh School days, a well hated anime due to how detestable the MC is Damn I wish people actually understood this show, School days show just how Vile, Detestable, horrible, horny a person can be, Makoto at first seems like your generic harem mc but his true identity is revealed as the anime progresses onward. Makoto is how most people in real life would react to having a harem of girls around him. He isn't able to control himself, his horny nature is manipulating what he should be doing there are tons of people like Makoto in real life. Most horny teens would probably act thesame way Makoto did in the show.

School days suffers from the same problem that made Scum's wish hated, they are both darker approaches to a lighthearted genre. I get why it's hated because it strays away from the genericness of it's genre and instead decides to show you just how barbaric an actual harem might be. School days shows us that having a harem is not all fun and games

Instead of having an MC that can't choose who best girl is for him we have Makoto who can't decide so he tries them all.

The first few episodes were relatively tame, then the 2nd girl does something and after that it becomes a hold your anger simulation. I can't believe an anime made me hate the MC so much my blood was boiling as more and more girls made moves and the MC just went along with it.

The ending was one of if not the best endings to an anime I've ever seen, It was well deserved and was a massive relief to everything I've witnessed so far.

I recommend people to watch this, don't let the MAL score scare you this is one of the most unique experiences you'll ever have and the ending is just top tier
