Katakoi Lamp is a bit of a weird manga. The plot seems simple enough, Kazuto runs a coffee shop and Jun is a regular customer who can't seem to take his eyes off him. Before Kazuto realizes, he's already in love with Jun but not everything is as it seems and not everything will run as smoothly as Kazuto thinks and hope for. Now, my main issues with this manga are 1) Kazuto's way of getting close to Jun and 2) Kyosuke and Hisara. While Kazuto just felt like a weirdo and a creep, Kyosuke and Hisara seemed like completely meaningless characters that were there onlyas plot devices to trigger some boring conflicts that lead to some small development between Kazuto and Jun, or worse, to nothing at all.

Cute art and character design but it was a very... unimpressive read.
