What a great gem. Had the opportunity to see it in theaters after getting an AD for it on social media. loved seeing this huge talking cat and I just had to know what this was all about. *Story: it was great even had me tearing up a little bit towards the middle but a great short story to watch. *Animation: it was amazing, beautiful and bright. *Characters: The character growth Karin(the little girl) goes through was enjoyable, at the beginning when she is left in the temple she really didn't like anybody but as the movie progresses she comes around and softens up to thosearound her.
Anzu(the cat) was fun to watch and to really see him to start caring more for Karin and helping her out.
Although we really don't see much of the dad , I really believe he is a good person and only wants the best for this daughter even
though
he basically abandons her at the temple and going no contact.
Mom was a great character and she really understood her situation and pushes for Karin to look past her death and reminds her of the
great people who surround her.

overall it was amazing watch and such a joy to watch in theaters.
